First Lenders Mortgage Company was founded by Joel Brant and incorporated in October of 1988.

With the primary branch office located in Albertville, Alabama, First Lenders opened a satellite office in Homewood, AL to assist with servicing of its Birmingham and central Alabama customers.

First Lenders Mortgage Corporation specializes in Conforming 1st Mortgage Home Loans, VA, FHA (HUD) FmHA, and Conventional loans. Now with our new Non-Conforming Loan division in Homewood, we can assist most individuals, in many financial circumstances, with acquiring a home loan.

Joel Brant - President. Joel has worked in first mortgage home loans since 1970 and has a BA Degree Auburn University

Jody Brant - Senior Loan Officer. BS degree in finance. Jody has been in the mortgage business since 1992 and is the senior loan originator located in the Homewood office.

Sherra Dean - Branch manager for the Albertville office. Sherra has been in the mortgage business since 1983.

Rebecca Culbert - Senior Loan Processor. Rebecca has been employed since 1988 in the mortgage lending industry and has previous real estate experience

Pam Smith - Closing Coordinator. Pam is in charge of warehousing, loan closings, payroll, accounts payable and receivable.

Shelba Roberts - Loan Originator. Shelba assists with servicing of the Dekalb and Jackson counties and has been in the real estate industry since 1991.

Derryl Kinnell - Loan Originator. BS Degree in Marketing and Finance from Alabama A & M. Derryl has been in the Lending Business since 1992.

Letha Harris - Loan Originator . Serving Marshall County since 1994, specializing in conforming and non-conforming loans.

Hunter Copeland. Hunter has worked in the mortgage business since 1970 and has a B.A. Degree from UAB.
